If you decide to register your details with us then we write a cookie containing your access details to your machine to make your subsequent visits easier. To get best use of the site you should, therefore, enable the use of cookies within your browser options.
Screen Resolution and Desktop Area
The site has been optimised for a screen resolution (Desktop Area Setting on your control panel) of 1280 X 800. With a setting of 1024 X 768, you will be able to view the site perfectly, but please note you may need to use the scrollbars that appear to navigate the whole page.
Using the Microlease Search Engine
It's easy to use the search engine. Just enter your query terms in the search box provided and click the "search" button on the right.
You can search by product description, code and manufacturer or any detail of the product recorded in our catalogue. The search engine will try and put the items that most closely match your search at the top of the search results.
The search can be restricted by manufacturer and product group to reduce the number of results that are displayed by selecting one or both of these from the drop down lists at the top of the search page.
The search will firstly attempt to exactly match a product code to return the specific item that you are searching for. It will then search deeper by looking for matches of manufacturer and product description. Ultimately clicking the 'Full Keyword Search' option causes the engine to carry out the deepest search where any of the search terms that you have supplied are matched against the full textual descriptions of the items in the catalogue.
For best results when performing a new search, use the ‘Clear’ button to ensure none of your previous search criteria are kept.
Browsing the Microlease catalogue
The catalogue is organised into sub sections and all products are categorised within it. The catalogue can be browsed using the selection buttons on the catalogue page. The product category hierarchy is displayed as you browse through the headings. At the bottom of the hierarchy is the manufacturer name and clicking the manufacturer selection button displays all products from that page in the catalogue.
Understanding the Search Results
The search results are displayed in a list one page at a time. The pages can be navigated using the next and previous controls.
The full detail of any item can be displayed by selecting the product type link. Items can be compared feature by feature with other items in the same catalogue group and by selecting product comparison items can be compared directly with each other.
