Microlease is undoubtedly the industry leader when it comes to customer service. Since 1979, we have listened to our customers and have developed a series of reliable, flexible and cost effective services to meet their needs.
Our Customer Services staff are fully trained and ready to answer any queries you may have but below we have listed a number of Frequently Asked Questions which may answer your question straightaway.

1. Can I extend the hire? And if so what do I need to do?
Yes. Just call (866) 520-0200 (toll-free) and we'll be pleased to extend the hire for you.
2. Can I rent by the day?
Yes, after a minimum rental period of one-week. Microlease is the only rental company to offer DayRate as a standard option.This means that if you decide to keep the equipment beyond your original hire period you only pay for each day you keep it, which means that if you finish with the equipment mid-week we will not round up to a full week.
3. Can I return the equipment early if I don't need it?
Yes, we will adjust the charges accordingly.
4. Can I open an account with Microlease?
Yes. Call us now on (866) 520-0200 (toll-free) or contact us and we'll be pleased to open an account for you. You'll be asked for your bank details and we'll try to get the account running with the minimum of delay.
5. Whilst I have your equipment is it insured?
Please note that insurance of the equipment is your responsibility whilst you have the equipment. The equipment would normally be covered through your existing policies. If you have any doubts about this, please contact us for help and advice.
6. Can I take the equipment abroad?
Yes. It is essential however that you call us to let us know where the equipment will be located.
7. Is the insurance valid if I take the equipment abroad?
Please check your insurance policy but special cover is usually required.
8. Do you supply the consumable products with the equipment?
Yes. You can order consumables when you first place the order or during the course of the rental. The product tables in the Products section indicate where consumable items may be required.
9. Can I reserve the equipment for a future requirement?

10. Can you deliver to my address but collect from the site that I will be working at?
Yes. Just provide us with the details at the time you place the order or when you would like the equipment to be collected.
11. Can you deliver the equipment to my office abroad?
Yes. Microlease offers a worldwide service. We can also help and advise on any necessary documentation and customs declarations there and back.
12. If I order now, when will I receive the equipment?
Wherever possible we operate a next working day delivery service. However, if you need equipment urgently, ask our sales team whether FastTrack is possible. FastTrack is our high speed delivery system that pulls out all the stops to get you the equipment in the shortest possible time.
13. How do I arrange for the equipment to be returned?

14. Can I collect the equipment from you?
Customers are always welcome at our Head Office in Harrow. If it is easier for you to collect the equipment please let us know.
15. I need to take delivery of the equipment in the UK [or EU country of original delivery] but I will need to take it with me on a trip abroad, is this OK?
Yes. Just let us know beforehand where the equipment will be. You need to ensure the equipment is covered by your insurance. If you need any help with the documentation or customs declarations please don't hesitate to ask.
16. Can you supply further technical information on products?
Yes. We have well over 3,000 different products in our inventory and we hold technical data sheets on nearly all of these products and many more which you can find on this site.
17. Can you advise me on the most suitable equipment for my application?
We provide a full range of services from free product advice and guidance on product specifications right through to full consultancy services. We would be delighted to supply you with a quotation.
18. Do you supply Calibration Certificates?
Yes. Whenever you rent equipment from Microlease you can be sure it's in perfect working order. Our procedures comply with ISO10012-1 and we can arrange UKAS Calibration on request.
19. Who owns Microlease?
The management team of Microlease, Europe’s biggest telecoms test equipment rental company, completed a buyout (MBO) in 2006. This was supported by Lloyds Development Capital (part of Lloyds Bank with assets of £310bn).
